マンボウは、自然界ではクラゲや小型の魚を食べていると言われています。アクアワールドでは、魚やエビなどをすりつぶし、ゼラチンで固めた特製のエサを1匹1匹に手渡してあげています。
Ocean sunfish’s diet consists of jellyfish and small fish in the wild. At Oarai aquarium, we feed each ocean sunfish by hand. The food is made of fish and shrimp mixed together with gelatin.
