大きなシロワニは、1999年に南アフリカから36時間かけて、アクアワールド・大洗にやってきました。水族館に来た時には、全長1.5メートルくらいでしたが、今では3メートルを超える大きさに成長しました。シロワニがガラス面に近づいてきたら、口元を見てください。たくさんのとがった歯が見えます。
The big sandtiger shark came to Oarai aquarium in 1999 via a 36-hour journey from South Africa. It was only 150 cm long when it arrived, but has grown to more than 3m now. Take a good look in its mouth when it comes near the glass and marvel at those sharp teeth!
